Kuna

The Kuna brand is the culmination of thousands of years of Peruvian alpaca breeding and textile experience combined with generations of modern technology, apparel manufacturing expertise, and a deep respect of the natural world. The result is a marvellous expression of superior quality, high fashion, practical function and lasting durability.

Kuna is a division of Incalpaca, the leading alpaca apparel manufacturer in the world. Founded in 1979 as a logical extension of their yarn business Incatops, Incalpaca manufactures apparel and home products for the most prestigious brands in the world.

WRAP Certification

Incalpaca is WRAP certified. Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production, or WRAP, is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the certification of lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing throughout the world. WRAP certification is based on compliance with the 12 basic WRAP principles found here. As the WRAP website says:

“The WRAP Principles are based on generally accepted international workplace standards, local laws and workplace regulations which encompass human resources management, health and safety, environmental practices, and legal compliance including import/export and customs compliance and security standards.”
