The Handwoven 100% Vicuña blanket represents one of the rarest expressions of Andean luxury. Only one piece is currently available in Peru, with no confirmed new production date due to the limited availability of vicuña fiber.
Each blanket begins with fiber that is carefully cleaned by hand, strand by strand, before being hand-spun using the traditional pushka spindle. The resulting yarn carries the subtle natural variations that make each piece truly unique. It is then woven and finished by master artisans with decades of experience working with noble fibers, creating a blanket with exceptional softness, warmth, and unmistakable handmade character.

Vicuna is the finest animal fiber in the world. It is extremely light, amazingly soft, and provides unrivaled warmth. Vicunas may only be sheared every two years and produce a small amount of fiber, increasing the rarity of this beautiful product. In Inca times, only royalty could wear such amazing fiber.
- Alpaca fibers are resistant to stains, odors, and wrinkles, allowing garments to go longer between cleanings; when doing so, use an eco-friendly dry cleaner.
- Socks, hats, and gloves can be machine washed in cold water using mesh bags
Storage Tips
- Knitwear should be folded and laid flat, not hung, to prevent stretching.
- Store in a cedar chest with cedar chips or lavender
