Today, one should be lucky enough to receive such an item! Of course, the main issue with giving socks is where to get them and which to choose.

For example, big brands like Gucci are selling socks with crystal ornaments, which are about $1000, but then again, Falke's vicuña socks sell out, despite their price of $620.

Sports socks, which were once the gym's reserve, sway on the catwalks! And the millennial generation does not seem to have enough.

We know that it is not easy to find the perfect pair of socks, those that will keep your feet toasted and dry throughout any weather.

And since the basic element of anyone’s wardrobe is a pair of well-fitting socks... We acknowledge that the right pair of socks is not only for the benefit of functionality, but it has become a way of expressing ourselves, adding a subtle audacity &, or personality to our daily outfit, that otherwise would be too plain and simple.

Here are some suggestions you can use!

Socks should always enhance an outfit, never clash nor dominate it.

Plain or basic socks are anything but boring. Add color to any outfit, whether formal or casual, with a neutral base of black or navy blue, this sock style can really make you the center of attention.

There are also the dress socks, these are a must for a formal occasion; a sharp tuxedo is your backdrop for this sock style.

Last but not least, we have your savior, the one kind of sock you can wear with anything, and when we say anything, we mean anything. But to introduce this almost utopian kind of socks, we need to make an introduction.

We are usually asked if there is some sort of fiber that is superior to the others…

Deciding what type of socks to buy can often be difficult when faced with so many options in the market.

Finding the one pair of socks that works best for you, your activity, the time of year and weather conditions, makes all the difference in your personal comfort.

Usually, we just buy new shoes after new shoes, looking for an improved comfort level, but we always lack something. Even worse, we blame the shoes we have, for being uncomfortable, when in most cases it is the socks. But why is this so?

With 26 bones and many joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments, the human foot is very complex. In one life, a person records an average of 70,000 miles on their feet.

That gives you much more respect for your feet, right? That is why proper foot care and the use of appropriate socks and shoes is essential.

Feet sweat about 20-30 gallons in total, per year, even per foot, which is a lot of sweat! Where is it going? Each sock absorbs between 5 and 8 gallons of that perspiration, and the shoes also get their rate.

Fiber makes a difference in your socks!

Here is a piece of advice, avoid 100% cotton socks. Cotton is a great absorbent material, but where does the moisture go? Nowhere! It remains there against the foot. This moisture softens the skin, increases friction and, in turn, causes blisters.

Avoid wool socks! Wool is a thick fiber. It also absorbs moisture, as much as 30 percent of its weight! This moisture in wool has a smell of its own. In addition, wool contains lanolin, which is a very popular allergen. Many people are allergic to this basic element.

What could you possibly wear to keep your feet happy and healthy? Alpaca!

Alpaca is a natural fiber, free of lanolin and naturally hypoallergenic. It is hollow and wonderfully thermal. It is a super-fine fiber with a much better fineness compared to wool; in fact, it is so fine that four or five strands are equal to the width of a single human hair! In other words, it's 25% the size of wool and it's so warm! So, ideally, it's lighter and much less irritating! Just try on a pair of alpaca socks and you'll be a believer!

We hope these suggestions made your day a bit brighter!
